Just a little preworkout dancing, which I HIGHLY recommend at all times but ESPECIALLY if you really aren't feeling it.

Ya know...I don't "feel" like working out everyday. I do it because I've PRACTICED being in a routine and I've made discipline a habit. 
Motivation can be overrated. Move your body every day for whatever reason gets you going! Better health, better body, upcoming vacation, recently dating, recently broken up. The reason actually doesn't matter in the beginning. Just find one to get you up out of your everyday routine.

So, this morning I took the first step, small but a step none the less, to continue this journey with the coach who inspired me to start in the first place. The ladies love the spontaneity of these workouts - you never know what’s coming next! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s good to change things up - it keeps us interested, stops us stagnating and makes it fun!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In bootcamp we hit three pillars of training - Cardio; Strength, Stretch!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Building your aerobic fitness improves the ability of your heart and lungs to take in and deliver oxygen to your vital organs and tissues as well as building a strong heart and fighting against disease.

Building muscular strength through resistance training will help to fight against age related muscle decline, which helps support a strong and stable body, reduces the risk of injury and pain (such as lower back pain) and also boosts your metabolism as muscles burn more calories at rest. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Including a stretch sequence in your fitness regime ensures your re-lengthen shortened muscles after a strenuous workout and ensures continued optimal range of motion at our joints and reduces the possibility of injury and pain.

On top of this our yoga sequences will bring peace calm and mindfulness into your day.

I haven’t read Atomic Habits yet, but my online fitness coach posted this quite awhile ago and it has really stuck with me through this journey.  So far, I’ve established a pretty solid workout and meditation habits and now it’s time to add in a little something else... personal development, reading, writing.... what should I start first?
